The Grand Canyon

Over Memorial Day weekend, Robyn and I took a quick one night camping trip to the south rim of The Grand Canyon. Getting a campsite at this National Park is pretty hard, and especially rough over any holiday, but thankfully I know some secrets and was able to secure one!

It’s about a 4 hour drive from home, which means one night is actually not too bad as we don’t mind leaving after sunset so we can get a full day in before heading back.

Below you will see a selection of images and videos from the trip, documenting, our encounter with a California Condor, a beautiful sunset at Desert View, our overnight camping set up in our Jeep, our south rim hike, and another fantastic sunset from Yavapai Point.
